Fatigued, Fractured, Yet One

 

The elephant and donkey may stand in conflict, divided by color, direction, and belief, but they remain part of the same vessel. For me, this piece is about setting aside our differences and remembering that we’re all shaped from the same clay.

In Memory Of ...

 

I created In Memory Of … for those loved ones who fought hard their battle against breast cancer. The vessel is shaped like the human body - strong, yet vulnerable. The pink ribbon and the raised arms forming a heart became ways for me to feel connected to them, and to hold onto the idea that love continues even when someone is no longer here.
